Fiona Hyslop at Architects for Yes meeting

Architects for Yes are delighted to announce that we will be holding a public meeting at the Council Room, 15 Ruland Square, Edinburgh on Monday the 8th of September (tonight).

The event starts at 6pm and finishes at 8pm after which we will retire to a nearby bar H.P.Mather. to continue discussions.  It will be livestreamed here: https://new.livestream.com/IndependenceLive/architects

Confirmed speakers include Fiona Hyslop is the Scottish Government's Cabinet Secretary for Culture and External Affairs and Scottish National Party Member of the Scottish Parliament for Linlithgow. Malcolm Fraser who is a prominent architect and a leading member of the Radical Independence campaign group.  His talk will be called "What Independence means for Architecture".  Academic and the Director of Cultural Studies at Strathclyde University Architecture Department Jonathan Charley will deliver a lecture called "Glimmers of Another Scotland".  Peter Wilson, architecture critic and academic from Napier University will outline the huge opportunities independence will give the architecture profession.  The tiltel of his talk is, "Scottish Architecture without frontiers - unleashing the talent".
